Ultimately, each of us faces certain challenges alone.
However much we might be loved, and benefit from the attention and care of our families or partners, each of us is responsible for our own actions and well-being.
I work with adult client of all ages and backgrounds who are looking for some help to deal with difficulties which relate to them, to their sense of self, or to their interactions with others.
The list of situations with which a client may be looking for help includes:
- Family issues
- Childhood Traumas
- Anger Management
- Work problems
- Women’s issues
- Anxiety/panic attacks
- Eating disorders
- Addictions – drugs, alcohol, sex, food, etc
- Gender orientations
My approach is tuned to the specific circumstances of each client, but in general draws on the principles of Transactional Analysis.
This means that we will work together to explore behaviours that are impacting on adult life, but which were shaped by relationships and roles rooted in the client’s childhood or adolescence.
